What is Stone Cold?

Stone Cold Aesthetics is exactly what it sounds like.

First…Stone Cold. Why Stone Cold? The brand is as serious as possible about fitness. This site focuses very intensely on every aspect of fitness as possible, providing a very down to business, Stone Cold outlook on topics.

Second…Aesthetics. What are aesthetics?

Aesthetics: the branch of philosophy dealing with such notions as the beautiful,the ugly, the sublime, the comic, etc., as applicable to the fine arts,with a view to establishing the meaning and validity of criticaljudgments concerning works of art, and the principles underlying orjustifying such judgments.

Bodybuilding is all about the beauty of the human body. Thus, aesthetics are a vital part of the fitness world. Therefore, it will be a vital part of this blog.

All put together, Stone Cold Aesthetics defined:

A serious, in depth exploration of beauty as in respect to the human body.

This blog will explore everything that goes into sculpting aesthetics, whether it be for Bodybuilders or those more concerned with the Physique aspect of bodybuilding (the two will be later on differentiated between).

In the weeks to come, training methods, history lessons, nutrition discussions, and conducted interviews will be included from entry to entry. It is very important to explore not only the gym aspect of fitness.

There are multiple, various training methods. Which are more effective for different specific goals? Does an aspiring powerlifter use a endurance athlete’s training program? Most likely not.

There is history to it that helps one to understand how the industry has climbed to the booming business it is today.

Nutrition is half the battle it fitness. The wrong diet and everything else falls apart. Exploring different methods of nutrition (aka different diet programs) will be a large part of this blog’s focus.

No matter how much time one spends in the gym, on the track, or whatever place of training, no other learning method is as effective as learning from peers. Whether it be in conversations first hand or in interviews, we learn the most from others’ experiences.

Now let’s begin.
